Funds are subject to institutional constraints such as LP requirements, drawdown limits, and quarterly evaluations, often forced to stop-loss and exit at the worst possible time; while individual investors can take advantage of volatility, extend their time horizon, and buy up chips passively dumped by institutional constraints at the market bottom, thus gaining profits.”
