BlockBeats News, April 9th: White House Press Secretary Levitt said on the 8th at a press conference that Iran’s originally proposed 10-point plan was unacceptable and has been abandoned. Iran subsequently put forward a “more reasonable and concise” proposal as a basis for US-Iran negotiations.
Levitt stated that US President Trump and his team believe that this new Iranian proposal can serve as a viable basis for negotiations and can be “consistent” with the US’s 15-point plan. She said Trump’s “red line” demand for Iran to stop its uranium enrichment activities remains unchanged, and the idea that Trump would accept an Iranian “wish list” style agreement is “completely absurd.”
