BlockBeats News, February 27th, Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales posted on social media, stating, “Those who think Bitcoin will go to zero are likely mistaken. Its design is robust enough that it will continue to exist unless there is an unforeseen cryptographic collapse or an unexpected 51% attack (even if these events occur, I think it could continue to exist through a fork).”
However, Bitcoin may fall to a price level only suitable for enthusiasts to play around with. As it is a complete failure as a currency or store of value, it cannot become the dominant currency of the future. Therefore, I suggest setting the price target for 2050 at below $10,000 in present value terms, and possibly even far below that level.”
