Emerging market central banks such as Poland, Brazil, and Uzbekistan actively purchased gold, highlighting gold’s role as a strategic reserve asset. Official net gold purchases year-to-date have reached 254 tons, with Poland leading at 83 tons. WGC surveys show that 95% of central banks expect to continue increasing their gold holdings in the next year.
