Y Combinator Completes First Funding with a Stablecoin, Pays $500,000 USDC to Totalis, a Prediction Market Startup

BlockBeats News, April 14th, according to The Block, renowned startup accelerator Y Combinator has completed its first all-stablecoin investment, paying $500,000 USDC to prediction market startup Totalis through three transactions on the Solana blockchain, with the assets custodied on the financial operations platform Ramp. Y Combinator CEO Garry Tan stated that the accelerator will offer stablecoin payment options to all YC-supported startups, not limited to crypto-related companies.

Totalis plans to utilize Ramp to simultaneously execute stablecoin-to-fiat trades and pay credit card bills from a stablecoin account.
