BlockBeats News, December 16th – Zhou Hongyi, Founder and Chairman of 360 Group, issued a statement: Recently, Yuhong maliciously defamed Mr. Zhou Hongyi, Founder of 360 Group, and several other entrepreneurs in multiple WeChat groups, with extremely false and detrimental remarks.

The statement pointed out that the mentioned Yuhong used to be the head of Gamewave, a gaming company that was acquired by Qihoo 360, the original US-listed entity of 360, over a decade ago. Yuhong joined a company under 360 in 2014, left in 2015 for personal reasons, and never held a core management position in the 360 Group during his tenure.

360 Group emphasized that the accusations of “financial fraud” and the like seriously deviate from the facts. In response to such malicious defamation, 360 Group stated that it will take legal measures in accordance with the law, hold relevant individuals legally accountable, and resolutely uphold the company’s reputation and legal rights.

Earlier today, BlockBeats reported that Yuhong, former 360 executive and founder of XMAX, fiercely attacked Zhou Hongyi, Founder of 360 Group, late at night on WeChat Moments and in community chats. He claimed to have helped Zhou Hongyi falsify accounts for at least tens of billions, with data to prove it, and threatened to publicly disclose it on the Internet. He stated that all of Zhou Hongyi’s gaming financials are fabricated and expressed regret for knowing Zhou Hongyi, claiming that he was deceived out of a lot of money.
